Mr. Jeffrey A. Slotnick, PSP is an internationally known security industry consultant with more than 27 years of experience in providing professional development and training to security, law enforcement, military personnel, and conducting Security Risk Assessments. Mr. Slotnick has extensive experience in the Public Works and Utilities field with specific expertise in Water, Waste Water, Dams, Transportation Infrastructure, Light and Heavy Rail, Supply Chain and Power Co-Generation Facilities.
Jeff has been actively involved in the Homeland Security effort, managing and conducting training in the protection of critical infrastructure, specifically, Risk Assessment Methodologies for Water Utilities, utilizing the Sandia National Laboratories Model (RAM-W SM) Community Vulnerability Assessment Methodology (CVAM SM), and Process for Assessing Infrastructure Risk (PAIR-PM TM) of which Jeff is a co-author. (PAIR-PM TM) is currently being reviewed by the Department of Homeland Security at ArgonneNational Laboratories as a viable means of conducting enterprise wide assessments of dissimilar infrastructures.

The company has conducted numerous local and national Vulnerability Assessments and possesses a solid reputation of providing cost effective security solutions which consider the totality of an organization. The assessment process takes into account policies, procedures, and facility culture as well as operational and physical protection systems. The Risk Assessment methodology has been adapted for all types of circumstances or risk categories. Recently Jeff testified before the United States Congressional Committee on Homeland Security, Transportation and Critical Infrastructure Sub Committee.
His expertise in Explosive Threats and Target Hardening has been recognized through published articles for Scotti Driving Schools, an upcoming book of the same title by Francis and Taylor Publishers, and numerous other articles for security industry publications. Recently Jeff was selected as the 2010 keynote Speaker for the International Association of Tunnel Safety and Security, and the ASIS Middle East Conference in Dubai.
Jeff is Command Sergeant Major in the Washington State Military Department, responsible for training and professional development of personnel in skills relating to Terrorism, Instructor Development, Crowd/Riot Control, Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), and Emergency Management. He also serves as a Reserve Law Enforcement Officer for the City of Centralia.
Jeff is an active member of ASIS International where he serves on the Private Security Services Council, Certifications and Guidelines Committee Chair for the Physical Security Council and as faculty for the ASIS Board Certified Physical Security Professional Certification and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Federal Protective Service National Academy, Physical Security Course. Locally Jeff is the ASIS International Assistant Regional Vice President for Pacific Northwest Region 1a.
