This program, which is currently being implemented in Croatia and the Ukraine, acknowledges that the law enforcement community constitutes a fundamental pillar in the fight against hate crimes and that effective law enforcement response to hate crimes lead to safer communities as well as strengthened relationships between police and their communities.

Kosovo Assessment
In 2007 NPSS was called to Kosovo to assess UN and Kosovo police agencies to design public order community relations response teams in preparation for independence.

NJ Transit Police Intelligence Led Policing Unit
National Public Safety Strategies (NPSS), Cardinal Point Strategies’ Homeland Security and Public Safety Practice, assisted the nation’s third largest mass transportation system in creating a program to preserve and enforce a safe environment for the hundreds of thousands of passengers who depend on NJ Transit on a daily basis. Senior members of Cardinal Point Strategies established the appropriate forums and alliances for assisting the unit to quickly link up with regional counterparts and gain a substantial foothold within the law enforcement intelligence communities (regional and national) that otherwise may have taken many months to cultivate.
